Dear Parents,

WOW! This year really flew! Can't believe Hebrew School is almost over!

This week, we learned all about Lag Baomer. Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai's students were so great, but they forgot one very important thing. They forgot to love one another, and have Ahavat Yisrael. We discussed the power of unity, and how important it is to be inclusive and sensitive to everyone around us. We wrapped up our day with an awesome review game. This week was so much fun, and we can’t wait for next week!

Important Reminders:

1. This year's end-of-year Hebrew School ceremony will be on Tuesday, June 7 at 6:00 PM.
Each class will be performing and each child will be receiving awards for their achievements this year. There will also be a big prize store for the year for the children to redeem all their hard-earned coins from the year.

More importantly, this is a chance for us as parents to show our children that we are in this with them, and how important this is for us as a family. I understand that there is so much going on with sports, dance, and so much more.

Please do everything you can to make sure you and your children are here!

2. Shavuot Ice Cream Party!
Sunday, June 5, from 10:00-11:30 am, we are having an awesome ice cream party with huge raffles for every single Hebrew school student! Parents are invited as well for beautiful services and lunch to follow. Join us as we listen to the Ten Commandments while celebrating with family and friends.

Since Shavuot is a Holiday, we will not have any electronics around the sanctuary area. There will be no official drop-off and pickup as we usually have. To learn more about the holiday of Shavuot Click Here

As always, if you have any questions please reach out!
