Week in Review - Sunday, April 18

Dear Parents,

We are so proud of all of those who have been completing and logging in their missions every day! If you have not yet started, it is not too late! Log into the app with your child's username and password and start logging in their missions!
We have one more week to reach our communal goal of 500,000 Mitzvot! Visit https://mitzvahmeter.com/ to spin the wheel and do a Mitzvah to help us reach our goal!!

This Sunday in Hebrew School we learned all about the holy land of Israel.

Grades K-2
We learned about the amazing promises Hashem made to Avraham. One of the most important promises was the promise of the Land of Israel belonging to the Jewish People. We learned how Avraham discovered Hashem when he was just a small boy and how he went around and taught people about Hashem. When Avraham was older, Hashem made a promise to him that his children were going to be like the sand and the stars and Hashem promised the land of Israel forever and ever.

Grades 3-5
We learned how the holy land of Israel was given to our forefather Avraham as a home for the Jewish people. We then learned about all of the incredible miracles Hashem performed for the Jewish people when they were entering the Land of Israel after they were freed from Egypt. We then decorated a beautiful plaque of the Western Wall - the holiest place in Israel today!

Grades 6-7
We learned all about the history of the land of Israel and what makes it so special and holy. We then discussed all of the significant monuments and cities in Israel and the history behind its significance. As we learned about each place, we filled our mini Israel suitcase with an image of the summary of what we learned.
