Week in Review - Sunday, May 2

Dear Parents,

This week in Hebrew School we learned all about the coming of Moshiach - the Final Redemption!

Grades K-2
We learned about the effect our Mitzvahs have on this world. When we do a mitzvah, we add a bit more light and the more Mitzvahs, the brighter this dark world will be. We got special glasses that turn light into different shapes and colors to show us what the light of our Mitzvahs can accomplish! We learned that when Moshiach comes, the entire world will be filled with light and there will be only good surrounding us!

Grades 3-5
We explored the great effect and light our Mitzvahs have and how the Mitzvahs we completed with the Mitzvah Meter really transformed the world! We played a super fun arcade game where we calculated all the Mitzvahs done through the Mitzvah meter and added light bulbs to each place. We got special glasses which showed us how much our Mitzvahs have actually lit up the world. We learned about the incredible miracles that will take place when Moshiach comes and how we have to keep on asking for Moshiach and doing as many Mitzvahs as possible to bring it!

Grades 6-7
We learned about the time period of Moshiach. We discussed how when the world will be filled with light and ready to be transformed into the Moshiach time period there will be no more bad in the world and everything will be transformed to good! We watched a video showing how all of the things that resemble suffering and evil will not be needed anymore and turned over to good, for example jails and hospitals.
